🌪️ Cyclone Arnab slams Andhra coast!
Very severe Cyclone Arnab made landfall on the Andhra Pradesh coast early Wednesday, Oct 28, with sustained winds of 125–135 kmph and gusts up to 150 kmph. India's National Disaster Response Force confirmed at least 3 deaths in Andhra Pradesh, 180+ houses were damaged, and more than 180,000 people were evacuated in Andhra Pradesh and Odisha. Flights and trains were cancelled and operations at three Andhra Pradesh airports were suspended. The storm has since weakened as it moves inland, but heavy rain continues.
